Instructions:
1. Place
a piece of capillary mat on the bottom ledge of planter.
2. Tuck the sides and ends into the groove that runs around the bottom
perimeter of the planter.
3. Place the plant material, complete with grow pot, into the planter.
IMPORTANT: The nursery grow pot must have bottom drain holes
4. Water each plant individually, allowing excess water to drain out of
bottom drain holes.
5. Continue to pour water into the planter until the water level reaches
1" above the bottom of the nursery grow pot.
6. The plants use the initial water for the first 5 or 6 days, wick up
(capillary action) additional water for the next 4 or 5 days and then
go dry for the last couple of days. IMPORTANT: Plants must be allowed
to dry out for at least 2 days.
7. Now it's time to WATER THE PLANTER - no need to water each individual
plant. By establishing the amount of water used for each planter, you
now can determine the desired time schedule for watering - 10 days, 14
days, 18 days, etc.
